The course has a progressive course structure that covers various topics. You’ll begin with basic techniques like hand positioning, picking and strumming, and basic chords, power chords chord extension. From there, you’ll progress to more advanced techniques like alternate picking, economy, hybrid picking, sweep picking, tapping, string skipping, vibrato, bending, pinch harmonics, effective use of floyd rose tremolo and more!

You’ll also learn how to play rhythm guitar and understand rhythm and timing. You’ll explore palm muting, chugging, and riff and rhythm patterns.

In addition, you’ll learn how to play lead guitar, including scale theory and modes, soloing techniques, building speed and accuracy, and creating melodic solos.

As you progress through the course, you’ll delve into advanced concepts like shred techniques, advanced soloing concepts, and progressive metal techniques.

Throughout the course, you’ll be introduced to a variety of progressive metal bands and artists, including Tool, Slipknot. Gojira , Mastodon, Trivium, Dream Theater, John Petrucci, and more

Upon completion of this course, you’ll have a solid foundation in heavy metal and shredding, and be equipped with the skills needed to take your playing to the next level.

2. How to use distortion, overdrive, and other effects to create the signature heavy metal guitar sound.
3. Soloing & Shredding techniques such as bending, tapping, and legato playing that are commonly used in heavy metal guitar solos.
4. Speed Training and Exercise
